When creating this blog, I first tried to use edublogs.org. But, I quickly found that I had to set up a different e-mail account other then the UIS account. This struck my as being ironic since it is a blog designed for students, but it is not going to be student friendly. I do understand that it has to do with the different spam protection that servers have installed.
So this lead me to set up a blog, here on Blogger. Today I get an e-mail message saying that I have been locked out here too..........hmmmmmmm, this blogging thing is starting to be troublesome. Hopefully this will post and I will be a happy little blogger once again,
I have had several friends that have used blogger as away of keeping in touch with friends and letting them know of their many adventures while they are traveling. I have found this to be a great way to stay in touch. It also helped that one friend, who teaches English, is a fantastic writer.
I have other friend that use this type of format as a way to stay in touch with family and friends that have many miles separating everyone. There are others that have biussness interests that happen to be hobbies too, blogging has been an outlit for them to tell the world about what they are doing and up coming events.
While setting up a blog has it's gliches, it seems to be a task that is easliy accomplished.
